Distance to the City Centre
The city centre of Krabi is about 15 km away from Krabi International Airport (KBV) and 10 km from the city limits. From Ao Nang and Had Yao, the airport is about 40 km and 23 km away respectively.
Transport from Krabi
To reach Krabi, there is no direct train service. First of all, you need to get the nearby Surat Thani from Bangkok and from there, you will have to book a taxi, take a local bus or book a seat in the shuttle to reach Krabi. One of the fastest routes to almost all coastal resorts is Highway 4 Northbound but only if you are renting a car.
